Vintage Circle Jerks Misfits Youth Brigade "Goleta, CA" Show Flyer

Circle Jerks are a legendary punk band from Los Angeles, CA. They were founded in 1979 by Keith Morris who previously sang for another legendary LA punk band, Black Flag. After starting anew in the scene's nascent days, Morris put together a group of new players who quickly took to releasing music and touring. They put out six full lengths in about just as many years, and then split up in 1990. Since then, they have reunited several times, with the most recent stint lasting into the present day. In 1983, the same year they released their third album Golden Shower Of Hits, the Circle Jerks played with fellow CA punks Angry Somoans and Youth Brigade as well as The Tourists. And after the show was booked, they made the biggest addition of all: New Jersey's finest The Misfits, who in 1983 were in their final year of their initial run. Misfits are one of the most iconic punk bands of all, their combination of horror movies, rockabilly, and sci-fi paired with a macabre melodicism set the standard for early punk days. This original Circle Jerks flyer with red Misfits stamp has three hole punches as if for a binder and a corner cut.
