Chrome, the San Francisco, CA-based industrial rock band, released 3rd From The Sun, their sixth album, in 1982. The record was released by Beggar's Banquet subsidiary Don't Fall Of A Mountain in the UK and Siren in the US. The band had been releasing music since the mid 1970s, led basically the entire time by Helios Creed and Damon Edge. 3rd From The Sun saw Creed and Edge furthering their soul, blending atmospheric moments with their industrial drive to create something that is both aggressive and meditative. After the album's release, Edge moved to Europe where he made music with various collaborators using the Chrome name, leaving Creed behind. Sadly, Edge passed away in 1995, but Creed has kept the band active since, continually releasing new music and touring. This original Chrome poster, in great condition with no pinholes but some wear and staining in bottom corners, is from the band's 1982 album 3rd From The Sun.
