The Buzzcocks released A Different Kind Of Tension in 1979. The British punk band known for their break speed melody had only formed in 1976. Like their previous two records, the art was done by Malcolm Garrett and featured some simple geographic art. Despite the record performing well — it went to #163 on the Billboard Charts and #26 on the UK Album Charts — the band broke up shortly after its release in 1981. Luckily for us, though, they ended up reforming in 1989 and have continued ever since, touring consistently and even writing new music. They are still active to this day, even after the tragic passing of singer Pete Shelley. This vintage Buzzcocks shirt from the early 80s, in excellent condition with light marks, features slightly reimagined art from the band's 1979 album A Different Kind Of Tension.
