The Boston Celtics are a professional basketball team founded in 1946, one of the original teams in the NBA. The Celtics have 17 Championships, which is tied for most in the entire league, and have been home to such players as Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Kyrie Irving.
