The Boston Celtics are a professional basketball team. They were founded in 1946 and have gone on to be one of the most winningest teams in the NBA with 18 championships as of 2024. One of those championships was 1986, when the Celtics, led by NBA Hall Of Famer Larry Bird, beat the Houston Rockets, led by fellow Hall Of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon. The Celtics won the series 4-2. They were then and were now one of the most dominant teams in the history of the sport, with a laundry list of Hall Of Fame players and coaches as well as books of memorable moments.
