Bolt Thrower were an English death metal band. The group formed in 1986 playing a different style of aggressive music, but quickly settled into their own only a few years into their career when they released their debut album in 1988. The next year, they followed it up with their sophomore album, Realm Of Chaos, after signing with Earache. It was their first time working with Colin Richardson who became a longtime collaborator. Bolt Thrower toured constantly and continued releasing music over their 30 year history before ultimately breaking up in 2016. This original Bolt Thrower shirt from 1989, nicely worn and lightly faded, is an early design from the legendary death metal band.
