He began with folk songs in the early 60s steeped in Americana only to set the world on fire when he performed at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965 with a Fender Stratocaster. Dylan ended the 70s with a conversion to to Christianity and spent the next few years dabbling in different genres, but he ended the 80s with a return to form with his record Oh Mercy, which was released in 89 on Columbia. The record reached #30 on the Billboard Charts and was well received by critics. This original Bob Dylan shirt, in great condition, is a 1989 promotional piece for for the Oh Mercy album.
