Biohazard is a hardcore band from New York City. The group formed in 1987 and found mainstream success in the next decade, known for creating a bouncy and tough sound that combined elements of hardcore and hip hop that decidedly from their hometown of Brooklyn. One of their hometown venues was the club L'Amour, and on March 24 they played there with the legendary Boston hardcore band Gang Green. Gang Green was from the original crop of USHC bands, forming in 1980. The band broke up and reformed several times with a regularly changing lineup, but their contributions to the early scene were significant and their songs timeless.
