Billy Bragg is an English folk musician. Bragg's version of folk is very much in line with the generations of guitarist singers who came before him, which is to say he plays earnest political songs that advocate for working class people and causes, and, of course, love. He began making solo music in the early 1980s and was quickly picked up by substantial label Go! Discs, releasing songs and albums that crept up the charts both at home and abroad. And since then, he has been doing mostly the same thing — releasing records, playing shows, and rallying behind causes he supports. This original Billy Bragg shirt, nicely worn with a few light marks, features the art from 1986's Talking Withe The Taxman About Poetry.
