Vintage Benefit For Mark's "Daniel Johnston Method Of Extermination" Show Flyer

Daniel Johnston was a singer songwriter from Austin, TX. He began writing and releasing music under his own name in the early 1980s. He recorded tapes and would hand them out at the McDonald's that he worked in. Johnston had an outsider, folky style and produced lo-fi recordings creating a style that was all his own. He was prolific, making a record a year for over a decade, and would also adorn his records with his own art. Most of his early work was self-released but he was eventually signed to Stress Records and ultimately worked his way up to major label Atlantic for one record. This original Benefit For Marks flyer, nicely aged, features an early Daniel Johnston performance.
