Vintage Beau Geste "Fort Zinderneuf" Shirt

In British writer P.C. Wren's 1924 adventure novel Beau Geste, Fort Zinderneuf is a remote French Foreign Legion outpost in the deserts of Algeria, where the protagonists are stationed. The fort is the locus of the intrigue in the novel, which also involves stolen jewels, mutiny, and an attack by Taureg tribesmen. The novel would go on to be made into a film several times, first in 1926 and most recently as a BBC series in 1982. The 1939 film stars Gary Cooper, while the 1966 version features Telly Savalas. This shirt, showing the fort in all its glory, is in great condition.
