Vintage Bad Brains "I And I Survive" FIFTH COLUMN T-Shirt

Bad Brains are the first hardcore band ever. Founded in 1976, the band didn't originally play hardcore punk music, but when they transitioned over to a more aggressive sound shortly after they quickly rose to the ranks due to their impressive musical ability and astounding live performances. The band was so energetic live in fact that they were banned from their hometown of Washington, DC due to rowdy shows and were forced to move to New York. They became regulars at CBGB's and made one of their most notable recordings there, their self-titled ROIR tape. They continued on with an ever-in flux lineup and made more and more classic records for various labels like SST and Caroline, like I Against I and Quickness. They have gone on to be influential in all scenes, being name checked by Hall Of Famers and hobbyists alike in music, sports, and entertainment. This original boxy fitting Bad Brains shirt, lightly worn and faded, features the art from their 1982 12" EP I And I Survive
