American Nightmare are a hardcore band from Boston, MA founded in 1998. At that point, hardcore's biggest bands, in Boston and maybe even the entire country, were from the youth crew revival scene. While AN members were involved in that, they conjured up something completely different. It was dark and abrasive and had vulnerable lyrics, pulling equally from hardcore as it was from bands like The Smiths. They quickly become the most popular hardcore band in the early 21st century, releasing 7"s on the newly formed Bridge 9 before singing to Equal Vision for two LPs (their last was under the name Give Up The Ghost). The band broke up in 2004 but ultimately reunited in 2011 and have remained active ever since. This original American Nightmare poster, with pinholes, features art from frequent collaborator Linas Garsys.

Dimensions: 24" Wide by 18" Long
