Californian punk band A Fire Inside, aka AFI, released their major label debut Sing The Sorrow in 2001 on Dreamworks. The band was formed in 1991 by singer Davey Havok and drummer Adam Carson and spent the entire decade playing Misfits-inspired music with Halloween imagery and catchy choruses. Mainstream audiences were ready for a band like that, polished with a kind-of creepy aesthetic, and the record went over great. It went to #5 on the Billboard charts and has since been certified Platinum. This original AFI shirt, in excellent condition, is from 2003 when the band released Sing The Sorrow.
