The early 2000s was an interesting time. George Bush was president and everyone wore their pants very tight. Things weren't all bad though, because a group of bands broke through to the mainstream and brought national attention to the new generation of punk bands. AFI had been around since the early 90s, coming up through the Bay Area scene and playing 924 Gilman. They released records through the guy from Offspring's label that Tim Armstrong produced, it doesn't get much more California than that. But by 2003, released their Billboard charting album Sing The Sorrow. This shirt we have here is from their next record, Decemberunderground, which was another huge success. It's a size small too, so it will pair well with tight pants if those are still your thing.
