7 Seconds were one of the most important and longest running hardcore bands. For nearly four decades, the Reno, NV group wrote, recorded, and toured, playing a melodic style of hardcore with a positive message. In 1988, the band released Ourselves, their fifth LP. Starting with 86's New Wind, the band started to challenge the straight forward hardcore sound that they were instrumental in cementing and began to incorporate new influences, landing somewhere between harDCore and New Wave. Ourselves was still on the same path, with Kevin Seconds crooning over roomy sounding drums. This 7 Seconds two-sided shirt, nicely worn in with screen printed ink throughout the shirt, is from the bands 1988-89 tour in support of Ourselves.
