Vintage The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers "Gilbert Shelton" Tank Top

The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers first premiered in 1968 in an Austin, TX-based underground newspaper called The Rag. Drawn by Gilbert Shelton, the three brothers — Freewheelin' Franklin Freek, Phineas T. Freak, and Fat Freddy Freekowtski — made their way from strips to comics to collections in the matter of a few years. Since the early 70s, Shelton, along with collaborators Dave Sheridan and Paul Mavrides, the Freak Brothers have gotten into all sorts of hi-jinx, mainly due to their being high. The comic has since been made into movies and a TV show. This vintage Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers tank top, nicely worn and faded in great condition, features a portrait of all three brothers.
