By 1984, Bruce Springsteen was a well-established and -respected musician. Not your typical rock star, Bruce was a working class guy. He came into success with albums like Born To Run and Darkness On The Edge Of Town, but in 82 released the paired down Nebraska that showed a tender side. What Bruce would do next was anybody's best, but what he did further catapulted him into stardom. Born In The U.S.A. was a pop record, but not one of glitz and glam. Really it was just pop because it was popular. The songs were easy on the ears, but the Boss didn't change his message. He just continued on the same path, and in doing so created an album that would go on to be one of the highest selling records of all time. This original Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band raglan from the Born In The U.S.A. era, in good condition with some pilling throughout the shirt, features our guy sitting atop a muscle car looking cool as ever.
