Rob Van Dam made his debut in the WWF in 2001. While he was entering arguably wrestling's biggest stage, he had been professionally wrestling for nearly a decade, spending time in both the WCW and the ECW. When the ECW closed, Van Dam signed a short term contract with the WWF, but he quickly rose through thanks. He won the Hardcore Championship within his first year. He went on to win the Intercontinental, European, Tag Team, and World Championships. Van Dam was a legendary wrestler, able to combine the aggression of hardcore wrestling with a high flying agility.
