A new millennium is a very special occasion. It only happens... well.. every millennium. The end of the 20th century saw us approaching the year 2000 and the future looked bright, save for the fear that all computers would reset to year 0 and the world's technological infrastructure would end. But we all ran wild with futuristic idealism. We were surely not far off from flying cars and virtual reality. Well, we're still not there, but the hopes and dreams are still alive.
