William S. Burroughs was a writer. He was most notably one of the preeminent thinkers of the Beat Generation. Born in St. Louis, MO in 1914, he was substantially older than the rest of the crew. Despite the different experiences this brought, his fascination with representing the countercultural underbelly made him a much-loved figure in American literature. Along with his contemporaries, his writing would go on to influence much of the youth culture of the late 20th century. Burroughs notably published such books as Naked Lunch, Junkie, and various nonfiction writings. He passed away in 1997 at the age of 83. This original William Burroughs shirt, in great condition with no bullet holes, is from 1997.
