Vintage Van Halen "5150" T-shirt

After David Lee Roth left Van Halen in 1985, the band had a hard time finding a new singer. And it makes sense, Roth left some huge shoes to fill, but once Van Halen met Montrose singer Sammy Hagar things started to click. The band jammed with Hagar and quickly built a rapport. They completed 5150, the band's seventh album and first with Hagar, quickly and it was released in February 86. The record was named for Eddie's studio which named for California's penal code for dealing with a mentally ill person. 5150 would also become the name of many Van Halen signature things, like his signature Peavey amp. After the release of 5150, Van Halen did what bands normally do: they hit the road to bring the songs to fans live and in person. This original Van Halen shirt, lightly worn and faded in great condition, is from the band's 1986 tour in support of5150
