In 1989, The Rolling Stones released their 19th album Steel Wheels. The Stones were, of course, one of the original bands from the British Invasion and had been going strong for over two decades, nearly three, at that point. They formed in 1962 and never slowed down, releasing albums nearly annually since their inception. Steel Wheels was a return to blues rock form for the band, something they would do again on several occasions. The band followed up the album's release with an enormous world tour, their biggest to date. This original Rolling Stones shirt, deadstock with fading on the print, is from the North American leg of their 1989 tour in support of Steel Wheels.
