The Offspring are a punk band from Southern California. They formed in 1984 and spent a decade playing fast, melodic punk music. And then, in 1994, they released Smash on Epitaph Records, the independent label founded by Mr. Brett from Bad Religion. The album exploded and became the highest selling independent release of all time. Since then, The Offspring have turned into a household name, producing more hits in the late 90s like "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)" and "Original Pranskter."
