The Exploratorium, San Francisco's interactive museum of science and technology, was founded in 1969. The museum was founded by scientist Frank Oppenheimer, brother of J. Robert and member of the Manhattan Project, after a stint where he was unable to work in his field because of his connections to the Communist Party. Now, decades later, the museum is still going, albeit at a different location, with over 600 exhibits. This original Exploratorium shirt from the 1980s is in great condition.
