Tales From The Crypt is a horror movie from 1972. It was directed by Freddie Francis and starred Joan Collins, Peter Cushing, and Roy Dotrice. The film was based on the the comics of the same name from EC Comics and so the movie had several different scary stories, five in all. It was a huge hit. The same idea was used in a slightly different style starting in the late 80s, as Tales From The Crypt rebooted as a horror comedy show and later produced movies as well.
