California trash metal greats Slayer released South Of Heaven, their fourth album, in 1988. After the release of Reign In Blood on Def Jam just two years prior, the band had become regarded as one of the preeminent metal bands. South Of Heaven was the follow up and had big shoes to fill. The band changed it up and wrote slower songs for the first and only time in their career. The record was eventually certified Gold. This original and iconic Slayer shirt, with wear and fade in great condition, is from the band's 1989 World Sacrifice Tour in support of South Of Heaven.
