The Rolling Stones were a band for nearly a decade before they began to use the tongue and lips logo. It's hard to imagine now as the iconic and simple design is intrinsically linked with the band, the bright red faceless mouth calling to mind Mick Jagger and Keith Richards instantaneously. The logo was drawn by John Pasche in 1970 and was eventually revised by Craig Braun to be slightly narrower and with a more defined outline. Since then, the logo has been used by the band on everything from T-shirts to stages to planes. This original Rolling Stones shirt from the mid 70s, in great condition, features the band's iconic tongue and lips logo.
