Mickey and Minnie Mouse were created in 1928 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. The two debuted as a couple, and that's how we still know them to this day. But despite our inability to think about one without the other, there was a long period of time when Minnie was replaced by Mickey's other pals — Daffy, Goofy, and Pluto. It wasn't until the 1980s that Minnie really came back and her and Mickey became inseparable. And that's how we like to think of the two.
