In 1992, Metallica and Guns N' Roses, two of the biggest metal bands in the entire world, came together for a massive US tour. What ensued was a trip of seismic proportions, selling out massive stadiums for tens of thousands of people all throughout the country. Metallica was still fresh off the release of their fifth album, the "Black Album," and GnR had also just released their double album Use Your Illusion I and II. The tour was not without its controversy. James Hetfield was burned by pyrotechnics in Montreal, Faith No More was kicked off as openers part way through, and Nirvana turned down the offer to open which sparked a feud that would last throughout the 90s. But beyond that, every show was what dreams are made of: two of your favorite bands playing all of their hits to oceans of screaming fans. This original tour shirt, nicely worn and heavily faded, is from the 1992 Metallica/Guns N' Roses US co-headliner.
