Man Or Astro-man? are a surf rock band from Auburn, AL founded in 1992. The band took inspiration not only from the music of the 50s but also from the movies and television, specifically the sci-fi ones. And from that they created an alternate universe for the band to exist in, one with elaborate stage production, whacky technology, and funny stage names. But their live show and prolific output, with releases on labels such as Estrus and Touch And Go, made it all deadly serious. This original Man Or Astro-man? single stitch shirt, in excellent condition with light discoloration, is an early tee from the surf rock weirdos.
