Lynyrd Skynyrd, the legendary southern rock band, ended operations after the tragic plane crash that killed multiple members in 1977. At that time, they were perhaps at the height of the popularity and power. However, ten years later, surviving members decided to get the band back together. They brought on lead singer Ronnie Van Zant's brother Johnny and other past members to round out the lineup and did the unthinkable: played some shows. The music was later captured on Southern By The Grace Of God, a live album, but the band continued on for decades after that. This original Lynyrd Skynyrd local crew shirt, nicely worn and heavily faded, is from their 1987 reunion tour.
