Lungfish were a band from Baltimore, MD. They were formed in 1987 by members of Reptile House after their demise and found a new sound that was both expansive and simple and an old home on DC's Dischord Records. They released their debut album, Necklace For Heads, in 1990 and began a steady flow of releases after that, releasing 11 full lengths over the next decade and a half. The band utilized repetitive, nearly meditative guitar work with thoughtful and absurd lyrics and a simple yet driving rhythm section. While Lungfish has ceased activity since 2005, members have been active in other musical and artistic pursuits. This original Lungfish shirt is nicely worn and faded.
