The Jane Whitney Show, the syndicated talk show, debuted in 1992. It was a bit of a precursor to 90s television: intentionally trashy topic with a focus on conflict. While Whitney approached the show with the seriousness of a career jouranlist, the themes and guests still provided a tumultuous foundation. The show has since been turned into a meme, as it was the home of famous punk G.G. Allin's last interview as well as some funny guests, like the guy who wants to sleep all day and party all night. When the Jane Whitney Show was broadcast at night, it ran as NightTalk With Jane Whitney. It was picked up in 1994 by NBC but only ran for one season before being cancelled. This original NightTalk With Jane Whitney shirt is in deadstock condition.
