Los Angeles-based heavy metal band Fear Factory released Obsolete, their third album, in 1998. The Billboard-charting record was a concept album that told a dystopian story about a struggle between man and machines. The main character, Edgecrusher, wants to destroy the machines and return the power to humans again. The album introduces the Edgecrusher character with a titular song which is a typical piece of Fear Factory brutality. This original Fear Factory shirt, nicely worn and faded in great condition, is from the Obsolete era and features the lyrics to the song "Edgecrusher" on the back.
