Divine was a drag queen from Baltimore, MD, the most beautiful woman in the world, almost. He became nationally know for his appearances in various John Waters movies, starting with the 1966 film Roman Candles. In 1972 Divine starred in Pink Flamingos which became a hit shortly after its release. He became a real life celebrity and made more movies and even some records. Sadly, he died in 1988. However, Divine is still regarded as one of the most popular and important drag queens, having helped usher in an entire new era of drag. This original Divine shirt from 1997, in excellent condition, is from the 25h anniversary of Pink Flamingos.
