Chris Webber, the professional basketball player, was the first round draft pick in 1993 after a successful, albeit short, career at University Of Michigan. Webber was initially drafted by the Magic but immediately traded to the Warriors but only played there for one season when he was traded to the Washington Bullets, even after winning Rookie Of The Year. As a power forward he took the team, who were renamed the Wizards during his tenure there, to the playoffs to the first time in nearly a decade. But ultimately Webber continued on in his career, going to a few more teams before retiring in 2008.
