Chokehold are a Canadian vegan straight edge hardcore band. They formed in 1990 very much in the same vein as the new metallic straight edge scene that was happening in the US. During their time together, they released two LPs, a handful of demos and EPs, and two splits. The band broke up after their 1996 European tour, though they have reunited twice since then and even recorded new music.
