Vintage Champion Philadelphia "Dad Vail Regatta" T-Shirt

Dad Vail Regatta began way back in 1934. Named for rowing coach Harry Emerson "Dad" Vail, the race still continues to this day. The organization was formalized in 1939 by Rusty Callow and Lev Brett and focused on bringing together university crew teams to Philadelphia for the regatta. In their current iteration, the Dad Vail Regatta is the largest collegiate race of its kind, with over 100 colleges and universities competing. This vintage Dad Vail Regatta single stitch  shirt, heavy worn in with a name stitched onto the neck, is printed on a vintage Champion tee, making it even more stylish and rare.
