Boston, MA-based rock group Boston released Third Stage, their third album, in 1986. The band was founded in 1975 and found fast success as their first record was one of the best selling debuts in history. Third Stage took many years to finish up. Their previous effort was from eight years prior. They were held up in part due to legal troubles with CBS. Fans were still just as hungry after the wait, and so it was another smash success, going four-times Platinum. The band, of course, went on tour in support of the record, heading out for 1987 and 1988. This original Boston shirt, lightly worn and faded, is from their US summer tour in 1987 in support Third Stage.
