Mobster Al Capone arrived at Alcatraz, the notorious San Francisco prison located on an island over one mile off the coast, in 1936. Capone was originally sent to Atlanta U.S. Penitentiary in 1932 for tax evasion but was sent to Alcatraz four years later. He was released in 1939, but his stay there has become a crucial part of the story of Scarface. This vintage shirt, lightly worn in great condition, remembers Al Capone, Robert "Birdman" Stroud, and George "Machine Gun" Kelly's stay at Alcatraz.
