The National Hot Rod Association was founded in 1951 by Wally Parks and held its first US Nationals tournament in 1955. The drag racing organization is still in operation to this day, and they still host the US National race, considered by many to be the premier drag racing event in the world. In 1980, the winner was Terry Capp, the Hall Of Fame racer from Canada. This original 1980 NHRA US National ribbed t-shirt is in great condition with a few light spots and marks.
