Blues singer R.L. Burnside released Mr. Wizard on 1997. Burnside had been playing for decades by that point but it wasn't until he signed to Fat Possum, the Mississippi label, a few years prior that he gained national success. Mr. Wizard was in that first batch of records during his period of newfound fame and it was co-released by Fat Possum and the SoCal punk label Epitaph. While the labels might have seemed like a disparate home of sorts, Burnside's inclusion only helped him. He toured consistently and made several more albums until his death in 2005. This original R.L. Burnside shirt, in great condition, was made to promote his 1997 album Mr. Wizard.
