Vintage Uniform Choice "A Wish To Dream" T-Shirt

Uniform Choice were a hardcore band from Orange County, CA. The band began in 1982 as a "political" band ("Although we were not happy with our existing government, we knew that being under Russian communist rule would have been worse," wrote original member Hanson Meyer) before being coopted by new singer Pat Dubar and being turned into one of the most popular straight edge bands of all time. UC released their first LP, Screaming For Change, on the band's own Wishing Well Records in 1986. It features the vast majority of their most popular songs, like "Use Your Head," "Straight And Alert," and "No Thanks." Along with the release of their debut LP, the band created amazing and iconic imagery to accompany the record, mostly seen on well-printed t-shirts. They usually feature bold slogans, print on every possible surface, and bad ass graphics. After their debut LP, UC followed it up Staring Into The Sun on Giant Records, a long hair rock n roll departure from their early days even though it was released only two years later. Before they signed to Giant though they had some transitional tees, shirts with their Wishing Well logo for songs that would never be released on that label. This original four-sided Uniform Choice Wishing Well shirt, in excellent condition with light wear and fading on the print, is a rare and cool tee from Orange County's premier straight edge band.
