Threesome Records was a Dutch hardcore label from the 1990s. They put out records for intercontinental crew of bands such as Veil, Chalkline, and Steadfast. But while the bands and the scenes they were documenting were separated by many thousands of miles, they still had one very obvious thing in common: hardcore. This design is a play on the classic Thrasher design by Jeff Klindt, a parody of Lichtenstein where a crying girls asks, "Oh God! Why can't my boyfriend skate?!" Only Threesome reworked it to feature a cartoon couple asking a similar yet different question: "Why can't my girlfriend be straight edge?!" This original Threesome Records shirt is nicely worn and faded in great condition.
