Charles Bukowski was an America writer. Originally born in Germany, Bukowski moved to Los Angeles, CA at an early age with his family and lived there for the rest of his life. He published small poems in various journals while working as a letter sorter at the post office for the majority of his life until Black Sparrow Press offered him a publishing deal when he was 49. Bukowski published his first novel Post Office in 1971 and published five more and a myriad of poetry collections before his death in 1994. Bukowski is known for his vulgar and blunt work. This vintage hand-screened Bukowski shirt, in deadstock condition with light spots and marks from prolonged storage, was designed by the legendary Don Rock, who is known for his giant screen printed shirts and his work with bands like Butthole Surfers.
