Vintage Chain Of Strength "What Holds Us Apart" Foundation Records T-Shirt

Notify me when this product is available:

Chain Of Strength were a hardcore band from California founded in 1988, at the height of a brand new national straight edge scene. By the mid 80s, hardcore had made moves away from its original style and sound, but thanks in part to YOT, bands returned to a traditional aesthetic that took inspiration from bands only a few years old. Chain Of Strength were of the same lineage. Drawing from California bands like Uniform Choice, the DC scene, and the then-new straight edge scene, Chain was a clean-cut band that played a driving style of hardcore that was emotional yet still aggressive. During their time as a band, they only released two 7"s, 1989's True Till Death on Revelation and 1990's What Holds Us Apart on Foundation. Members would go on to play in bands like Inside Out, Statue, and Hard Stance. This original Chain Of Strength shirt, in great condition, is from the Foundation release of What Holds Us Apart and features a classic live shot on the back.
