Vintage The Afghan Whigs "The New Sound Of Young America" Elektra Promotional Long Sleeve Shirt

The Afghan Whigs are an alternative rock band from Cincinnati, OH founded in 1986. After being a band for several years, they made the jump from legendary independent label Sub Pop to the majors, singing with Elektra. In 1993, they released their first album with the label, Gentlemen. The album proved to be their best selling one yet, thanks in part to singles like "Debonair" and "Fountain And Fairfax," and they eventually followed it up with Black Love in 1996. The Whigs left Elektra after that album but, save for some short breaks, have continued on writing and recording ever since. This original Afghan Whigs shirt from the 1990s is in excellent condition.
