Vintage Clayton Patterson & Ari Roussimoff "Tattoo Society Of New York" Volume 1 #3

Tattoo Society Of New York was a fanzine published by Lower East Side documentarian Clayton Patterson. As the name implies, it focuses on tattoos. There are essays, ads, and, of course, photos and art all related to tattoos, and it's all put together with Patterson's unique eye and aesthetic; many of the photos are his own, and they're backed by his art. These zines are sought after as they are an amazing look into New York tattooing when it was technically illegal. This issue, Volume 1 Issue 3, features writings by Darren of Tattoo You, Steven Blush on Kembra, Clarence Lu, and more as well as photos of tattoos by Andy Capp, Huggy Bear, Mark Mahoney, and many more. This original copy of Tattoo Society Of New York is in excellent condition.
