Common Sense was a fanzine out of New Jersey in the late 1980s ran by two notable editors. Tony Rettman sang for Chain To Thread and ran Consequence Records and has since become a reputable hardcore writer. Tim McMahon was the singer of Mouthpiece and later Hands Tied, Face The Enemy, and more. Both were deeply involved in the NJHC scene and put together an inaugural issue that was well-done and well-thought out, featuring interviews with Sick Of It All, Gorilla Biscuits, Turning Point, No For An Answer, Up Front, and Enuf as well as great photos and ads throughout. This original copy of Common Sense is in great condition with discoloration due to age.
